You arrive at Livingstone International Airport or Victoria Falls Airport for an onward road transfer to Kasane, the gateway to the Chobe National Park.

First on the agenda, you visit the Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. This visit is followed by a transfer to Chobe NP in northern Botswana. This immense stretch of African wilderness is home to an extraordinary proliferation of animals.

The late afternoon is devoted to your first safari activity in Chobe.

You have two days reserved for safari activities in the Chobe National Park.

The activities alternate between land-based open 4×4 game drives and water-based game viewing from a boat on the Chobe River. Chobe NP lies at the core of the Kavango–Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area. This cross-border conservation effort was formally established in 2011. Moreover it incorporates an area of approximately 444,000 square kilometers (171,000 square miles) of African wilderness.

The region spans five countries and sixteen national parks, including the Okavango Delta and is without a doubt home to Africa’s largest elephant population, an estimated 207,000 animals.

The initiative aims not only to protect the region’s wildlife but also the livelihoods of its rural communities. Particularly those who find themselves in daily conflict with animals such as lions and elephants, which destroy livestock, crops, and pose a threat to human lives.
