EXCELLENTVerified Aweome experience I just got back from climbing Kilimanjaro with Kilimanjaro Heroes, and they also organized a 4 night/5 day safari on the back end. Can't recommend this company enough. Communication was great throughout, no issues with payments, and all logistics were handled smoothly. Our guide Good Luck (real name), David, and their team of porters was phenomenal on our climb, we never would have made it to the top without them. Additionally, our guide/driver for the safari portion of our trip, Jamal, was top notch as well. From day 1, Mwinyi the chief guide was open and responsive, helping us understand what was ahead. He built connections with our family and continued to provide frequent check-ins, sharing information about the area along the trail. Salumn, the cook, prepared delicious meals and kept us full of energy. Henry, the waiter and do-everything guy, was attentive and on point at all hours. Janeth, an online contact, was quick to respond to questions before our trip. Porters carried a ton of gear, food and supplies up the mountain for us, always smiling and laughing. This is truly an incredible company that provides a family- feel through Mwyini’s great leadership. We climbed the Marangu route and used the huts, which made the trip into a mostly comfortable adventure. My cousin and I completed the 7-day Lemosho Route and summited Uhuru Peak, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team to share that experience with. From the very first interaction, things felt right. Evariste, who handled our booking, was communicative, organized, and made the entire coordination process seamless. Our lead guide, Wency, was the heart and soul of the expedition. Knowledgeable, warm, social, and genuinely fun to be around, he made every single day on the mountain enjoyable, not just survivable. He kept us motivated, informed, and laughing throughout. Among many interests, Wency knows his movies and has excellent recommendations, so if you find yourself needing conversation at altitude, you’re covered. Our assistant guide David matched his energy perfectly; friendly, funny, and incredibly talented at what he does. Together they made an exceptional team. For a group of just two climbers, we were supported by nine additional team members: a cook, waiter, bathroom attendant, and porters. Wency proudly called them the Dream Team, a name they absolutely earned. What struck us most was how genuine everything felt. We learned every team member’s name, had real moments of connection with each of them throughout the trek, and never once felt like we were on a scripted tourist experience. The celebrations and camaraderie felt authentic, not performative, which made it all the more special. The food deserves its own mention. Every meal was delicious and thoughtfully prepared to make sure we had the nutrition we needed each day. At altitude, eating can be a challenge, but the cook made it something to look forward to. Reaching the summit was the achievement of a lifetime, but honestly, the people made this trip. At the end of the climb, the team surprised us with small gifts, a gesture that absolutely confirmed Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures was the right company to go with. Absolutely incredible! Hiked Lemosho 7 days with my cousin. I couldn't be happier to have booked with Kili Heroes. Everything was handled incredibly well -- initial comms, payment, arrival, and -- of course -- the climb. Food was great; tent was high quality; and they include several thoughtful gifts at the end of the trip. The guides, cook, and porters were all phenomenal. We felt so well supported throughout the trip. My sister and I both had the most incredible experience hiking Mount Kilimanjaro with Kilimanjaro heroes! They were the most affordable company I could find and everything about the trip was perfect, from the trip logistics by Evarist and Laurent, to our amazing guides Mwinyi and Gloria, to our incredible porters (James, Hendry, and Mondonga to name a few), and our chef Salum who made the best food for us each day!! Everyone was so welcoming, kind, and very experienced, so we knew we were in good hands to make it to the top safely! Kilimanjaro Heroes Adventures also organized a coffee tour and waterfall hike the day before our climb, as well as a two day safari after, both of which were awesome (our safari guide Elly was also great). We did a 9-day safari trip in February/March 2026 with Elly as the guide. It was great to talk and learn from him throughout the trip. He is incredibly dependable and knowledgeable. No minor inconvenience or problem was too much - and we had a zero stress time from start to finish. Highly recommend.Posted on TripadvisorVerified Ascension 8 jours + 5 jours de safari J’ai eu la chance de pouvoir faire l’ascension par la voie Lemosho en 8 jours avec la compagnie Kilimandjaro Hereos Adventures et ensuite 5 jours de safari. Je recommande grandement car la communication a été très simple et fluide via Watshapp. Avec des réponses très rapide, une bonne compréhension des besoins et un tarif à mon sens très juste. Ensuite, l’équipe a été au top du début à la fin. Nos 2 guides, Sabby et Israël on étaient super. Très à l’écoute et patient car la barrière de la langue n’a pas toujours aidé (je ne parle pas bien anglais). L’équipe des porteurs et notre chef Walter était tout aussi incroyable. Une vraie équipe, toujours avec le sourire. Cette ascension a pu être réalisé grâce à tout ce monde, cette bienveillance et l’attention de nos guides. Je ne regrette absolument pas mon choix au niveau de la compagnie, c’était vraiment super. Pour le safari, les parcs étaient incroyables et les animaux au rdv, l’expérience auront donc été magique en ces points. Merci à eux
