Discover Tanzania

Experience diverse parks and Serengeti’s
iconic river crossings.

Wildlife, landscapes, and unforgettable safari journeys.

The Mkomazi National Park is framed by the green slopes of the spectacular Usambara and Pare mountain ranges. Not far from here, the snow-covered summit of Mount Kilimanjaro offers a stunning backdrop. Besides the beautiful landscape, it is especially the fascinating animal world that makes the park special. And it is also not too crowded with visitors.

The subspecies found in Mkomazi, the Eastern black rhino Diceros bicornis michaeli, has been classified by the IUCN as Critically Endangered, meaning they “face an extremely high risk of extinction in the wild.”

Gombe Stream National Park is a famous chimpanzee tracking park

The park major attraction is obviously the Chimpanzees that live protected within its boundaries. The scenery of Gombe is stunning with most of the 16 major valleys containing swift steams, which flow all year. In this park you can meet the stars of the world famous chimpanzee community.

Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania is home to the Kasakela Group, a clan of chimpanzees. Dr. Jane Goodall spent over 30 years getting to know characters such as old David Graybeard and gentle Flo, the mother of a chimp dynasty.

When it Comes to Serengeti NP, most travelers do take the best time to see the great migration in Tanzania being in the months of July and August when the over 1 million wildebeests and other herbivores do cross the Mara River infested with crocodiles, crossing to the Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya.

Best months for this safari are July, August & September.
