Your adventure begins in Arusha, a vibrant town on the slopes of Mount Meru. After an early breakfast, you will set off on a scenic ride through rolling hills and Maasai villages, heading towards West Kilimanjaro.
The journey will take you along both paved and off-road trails, offering a mix of terrain for an exciting ride. A stop near Mererani township provides a chance to stretch and take in the surroundings before continuing towards a natural hot spring, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim and a picnic lunch.
In the afternoon, the ride continues towards Simba Farm Lodge, where you’ll settle for a peaceful night in the foothills of Kilimanjaro.

After breakfast, the journey continues towards Longido Mountain, a region known for its Maasai culture and vast wilderness. You’ll ride through rugged terrain, stopping for a break in Longido town before making your way to Kitumbeine Mountain, where a hot lunch will be waiting.
After lunch, the adventure takes you towards Lake Natron, a stunning soda lake that stretches to the Kenyan border. The landscape here is surreal, with ancient volcanic cones, towering cliffs, and the mighty Ol Donyo Lengai volcano in the background.
The ride is dusty and thrilling, offering incredible opportunities for photography and wildlife spotting. You’ll arrive in the late afternoon and settle into a comfortable eco-lodge, where you can relax and enjoy the sunset over the lake.

Wake up to a spectacular sunrise over Lake Natron, with thousands of flamingos painting the horizon pink.
After breakfast, set off on a guided walk through a hidden gorge, where you’ll scramble over boulders, cross small streams, and discover natural waterfalls and pools.
This is the perfect place to cool off and take in the stunning scenery. After the gorge walk, visit the hot springs and fossilised footprints near the lake before preparing for the return journey.
You’ll leave Lake Natron behind and make your way back to Arusha, arriving in the evening after a six-hour scenic ride.
