Day 1: Tarangire National Park – Tanzania Honeymoon Safari

After breakfast at Mount Meru Hotel, our driver guide will take you to Tarangire National Park which is well known for its big groups of elephants and the huge amount of giant baobab trees. These trees can live for hundreds of years and are actually a source of water for elephants in the dry season as they have a special technique to draw water from them. Besides, the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the dry season, which is why in this season in Tarangire you can see groups of up to 250 elephants next to many more animals! Dinner and overnight at Manyara Serena Hotel.

Day 2 – 3: Serengeti National Park (central west/ east)

Serengeti National Park is widely known as the place to go on safari, mainly because of the Great Migration that passes through here. The enormous, stampeding herds are impressive, as are the vast amount of predators that live here: over four thousand lions, 225 cheetahs, a thousand leopards, 3500 hyenas and hundreds of wild dogs! And of course, plenty of other beautiful animals, which your guide will be delighted to search for together with you. Are you ready for this? Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Hotel.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Tanzania Honeymoon Safari

The famous Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s seven natural wonders. The crater was formed two million years ago when a vast volcano erupted. The fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem, now home to the highest concentration of animals found anywhere in Africa! Once in the crater, thousands of animals such as lions, zebras, buffalos and black rhinos surround you, and the views are astounding – you won’t know where to look! Later in the afternoon drive to Manyara Serena Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Flight to Zanzibar (included in the price) – Zanzibar Beach Holiday

After breakfast, drive to Kilimanjaro international Airport for your flight to Zanzibar Islands. On your arrival at Abeid Amana Karume International Airport, you will be picked up at the airport by our representative driver guide and be taken to Tembo hotel.

While in Zanzibar, discover white sandy beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters and vibrant coral reefs. Immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of Stone Town, visit spice plantations and enjoy the delicious local cuisine.

Day 6: Zanzibar Beach Holiday

Ultimate paradise is here: gorgeous, tropical Zanzibar! The clear blue waters of the Indian Ocean and the palm-fringed, white sandy beaches are almost too beautiful to be true. Buy your coconut drink fresh on the beach, spend hours sunbathing or swimming, and taste the delicious Zanzibari food. In the mood for something active? Then explore the beach, ocean, and island through a range of activities! We highly recommend the Safari Blue Cruise or a tour of Stone Town.  Dinner and overnight stay at Tembo Hotel.

The Maasai use this plant to grow livestock stockades, which matures to a highly durable stockproof hedge.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park – Amazing Northern Tanzania Safari

After breakfast, we proceed to Serengeti, Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park and famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers a remarkable game-viewing experience in Africa.

Day 3: Serengeti Central (Cental Seronera)

Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. Furthermore, we will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the south western corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. Day 6: Western Serengeti National Park

After breakfast enjoy a full day game drive in the Western Corridor. The key feature in the Western Corridor is the Grumeti and Mbalageti rivers. Especially interesting is that they are running almost parallel to each other, each support a band of evergreen forest. The rivers sustain a permanent game population of zebra, wildebeest, all the predators and birdlife. It is also possible to find large pods of hippo’s and huge crocodiles in the Grumeti River. The wildebeest normally gather around waterholes midmorning in such densities, that they look like ants swarming around a nest. Dinner and overnight in the Western Corridor area, Mbalageti Serengeti Lodge in Full Board Basis.

Day 7 : Western Serengeti – Arusha – End of Wildebeest Migration Western Corridor

After breakfast at the lodge, we depart to the Grumeti airstrip and enjoy a game drive en-route to the airstrip. Around midmorning join a scheduled flight from Grumeti airstrip to Arusha airport. Upon arrival to Arusha airport, meet our driver and transfer to Arusha town. On arrival in Arusha will we have lunch and then we will end our African safari adventure.
