Day 1-2: Victoria Falls
Day 1-2: Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls, a spectacular sight of beauty and grandeur forms the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Locally called ‘Mosi-o-a-Tunya’ (The Smoke that Thunders), the two-kilometer-wide Victoria Falls is the greatest curtain of falling water in the world - more than five hundred million cubic meters of water per minute plummet into a gorge one hundred meters down. It transforms the Zambezi from a placid river into a ferocious torrent. Facing the Falls is another similar cliff capped by mist-soaked rainforest, providing the visitor with unparalleled views of the Falls.

View one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, first from Livingstone on the Zambian side, under the African sun. On day two you will be guided across the bridge to the Zimbabwean side of the Falls for the Rain Forest Walk. But Livingstone is not only the gateway to the Falls. Participate in many other optional activities such as boat rides, microlight or helicopter flights, canoeing and white water rafting at your own cost.

Day 3-4: Chobe National Park Botswana

Transfer to Kazungula border, take a ferry across the border to Botswana and transfer to Chobe National Park, one of the most densely populated game parks in the world, offering the ultimate African experience and excellent game viewing. It is Botswana’s third largest national park and known as one of the best natural wildlife and wilderness areas in the country. The diversity of habitat sustains a wide variety of animals including the water-loving hippos and crocodiles as well as predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs and its spectacular elephant population. Over 70 000 elephants roam in the area, making it the largest continuing surviving elephant population on earth. Late afternoon visits to the water's edge offer hours of fascinating viewing and photo opportunities. Herds of buffalo can also be seen.

Included in the tour is a Chobe River Boat Cruise and an early morning or late afternoon Game Drive on an open 4x4 vehicle, both excellent activities for viewing the best wildlife on the Chobe river banks.

In total, the whole area covers 20 000 000 hectares of unfenced, wild reserve with free movement of game across this spectacular land. The Greater Kruger Area is the largest and most densely populated game area in South Africa.

Spend two nights at the Manyeleti Private Game Reserve, a small, exclusive game reserve with very few lodges and very low vehicle density - guaranteeing that you will have exclusivity with expert trackers on game drives to maximise your sightings. It is paradise for the wildlife enthusiast with close to 150 mammal species, over 380 species of indigenous trees, as well as over 500 bird species. The idyllic Letaba Rest Camp is situated on a sweeping bend of the Letaba River, midway between the southern and northern boundaries of the Kruger National Park.
