Join an exciting horse-riding safari in the Serengeti, one of the most famous wildlife areas in Tanzania. This eight-day adventure starts near Arusha, where you will spend the first night at a lodge before taking a scenic flight into the Serengeti.

You will ride across open plains, following herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles. Along the way, you might see giraffes, elephants, and even lions. Each day, you will ride through beautiful landscapes, move with your mobile camp, and spend nights under the stars.

This safari is for experienced riders only, as you will be riding in areas with big wildlife. If you love adventure and want to explore Tanzania uniquely, this horse-riding safari is a perfect choice.

Day 1: Arrive in Arusha

Your journey starts in Arusha, where you will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport and taken to a comfortable lodge. Here, you will meet your guides and fellow riders. Enjoy a welcome dinner and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Fly to the Serengeti and First Ride

After breakfast, take a scenic flight over Tanzania’s landscapes, with views of Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. Once you land, you will meet your horse and guide before going on a short afternoon ride. This ride helps you get comfortable with your horse while enjoying the beauty of the Serengeti.

Day 3 - 7: Horse Riding Safari in the Serengeti
For five days, you will ride through the vast Serengeti, covering different areas with open grasslands, rocky hills, and riverbanks.

Morning rides are great for spotting animals like elephants, zebras, and giraffes in the cool air.

Afternoon rides take you deeper into the wild, following animal tracks and discovering hidden spots.

Evenings are spent at mobile camps, where you can relax by the fire, enjoy delicious meals, and listen to the sounds of the wild.

Day 8: Last Ride and Departure

On your final morning, enjoy one last ride through the Serengeti before flying back to Arusha. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your journey home.
